League description:
HT - Champions is one of the oldest private leagues which is still active in XpertEleven. More exactly, according to the records, it is the 4th oldest league which is still alive. The league was created in 2003 and, at some point (2006), it had over 500 active teams (you can check this link: https://postimg.cc/5YQP7ndT to convince yourself:) ).
You are more than welcome to join us if you are an active manager or if you simply are nostalgic and want to contribute by keeping the history of the game alive. You can apply for any free team or you can request a new one. The newly-created teams can request a UNIQUE boost after they bring 5 players to the club (the players from the youth academy are included in this group of 5 players). Obviously, you can bring any 5 players to a newly-created team, but we recommend young players such as 17/3, 18/4, 19/5 with special qualities. From our experience, we can state that the boost has a high positive impact on such players and that's why we recommend such transfers. Also, such players are cheap on the transfer market so, after the boost, you can keep them as a starting point for a great team or you can sell them to obtain some quick profit. If a newly created team brings more than 5 players, it cannot request the boost without sacking the extra players that were brought. After the team receives the boost, you are free to buy other players.
We play by following a classic league system: 8 teams/division with two league games/week. From time to time, we introduce the cup as a secondary competition (Season 90, Season 100, etc.).
We are currently trying to bring back to HT - Champions the glory of the past and gradually to bring it back to its prime. Since I took over the admin role (December 2021 - after the completion of Season 83), we extended the league from 16 to 56 active teams. Our next objective was to go for 120 active teams by the start of Season 85 and we made it! We are waiting for your application for any free spot. The waiting list is also open for everyone.
Special thanks to HT - Champions former admins - edda, Edda, Lapa Nyman, Eckball - for keeping HT - Champions alive. Probably the league had other admins, but I don't have a full record on this aspect, so sorry if I omitted someone. :)
