League description:
The Bottle of BRU Premiership

A wee bit of a background to the league

This expert league began in 2007 and is about to start its 26th season. In season 1 we started with a league of 7. It was a mixture of my friends and people from pesfan.com.

Only 4 of those teams survived that season. They are know as the Auld Compass teams because of their location from the centre of Glasgow. The are La Vecchia Signora in the North, Flossy Ultras in the East, Lang del Cambus in the South and Sporting Lesbian in the west.

Season 2 we expanded to 12 teams with more people from pesfan.com and friends of friends.

In season 3 we increased to a league of 16. (which we now all realise means the season lasts just as long as the proper football season, 8 months).

Seasons 4 & 5 we had 2 very competitive leagues of 10.


Seasons 6 onwards we expanded and had 3 very competitive leagues of 10.

The majority of our managers are scottish based and like a bit of "the banter". We are all in our 20's or 30's so its a wee bit more........adult......although i'm not sure about less childish.
