Like 3 Olympian sprinters entering the final ten metres of the race and starting to stick their chests and necks out in one desperate last lunge for the line that seperates success and almost, the 3 sides still in with a chance of surviving relegation in division 5:14 hit the final two games with only 2 points separating them and just one spot of safety left .

A packed press room this morning once again saw Impalas' manager Dyson holding court and dazzling the paparrazi with his intense wit and devastating charm. He had the press almost spellbound and hanging off his every word whilst laughing uncontrollably at every anecdote .

Such was the level of wit Dyson exuded this morning not one member of the press actually made any notes on what he said, and even the camera men couldnt take any photos as they were left disabled by the humour on display .

Instead we had to speak to the clubs assistant manager to find out just what Dyson's thoughts are on the survival battle, and got the frank admission, "in all honesty we are in shock, we expected to be down about 6 games ago and the fact we have a chance of staying up is quite frankly baffling everyone at the club.

The assistant manager added how Dyson relaxed ahead of the big games by doing some of his famous community work, "the boss likes to tell the side his line up and run through the tactics he expects from them. Then only an hour before kick off he wanders around the ground inviting kids who have arrived early for a kick about on the pitch with the players as they warm up. "

Truly a man of hearts and minds of his fans, but with the two sides left below him to play surely Dyson will have to get serious soon??

Surely he can rest his youngsters now 9 of them have DV of 18 ?
Surely he can play his older, higher skilled keeper to try stay up ?

The assistant manager wraps up the interview, "you would think so wouldn't you? But survival has never been the aim this season and we won't switch away from DV now just to stay up.

"Its all about the future."
