Down Time

After suffering relegation there was a dark cloud hanging over CEG Impalas as fans of the club all waited not knowing the fate of the manager as the chairman sat in meeting after meeting and according to Times magazine " With their fingers on the trigger" ready to sack Dyson . One board member even sat watching re-run after re-run of the Apprentice and perfecting Alan Sugars “Your Fired" finger point .Time was running out for Dyson and the fans became disheartened, that sick feeling in the pits of their stomachs that the man they trust won’t be back after the break to continue the rebuilding of this proud family club . Just when the sands of time appeared to be running out on Dyson’s reign - already labelled “The Golden era " by fans who have seen the visionary genius he possesses . But when all hope seemed gone in came the CR All Ten of the under 30 year old  players returned a skill bar higher , 5 of those were actually 2 bars higher and the rest had jumped off a DV rating that promised with a little work they too would double next season . The chairman watched as they returned to training and seeing so many potential wonderkids at the club the penny dropped. No longer were they fixated on results. No longer did relegation hurt. Suddenly the future was all that mattered and the future was slowly starting to look good. So Dyson survived the axe and led the side out today as they battled bravely but didn’t have enough form to trouble Botswana, but all left the pitch with their form now heading up . Another relegation wouldn’t be a shock in the season ahead, but with the improvement so far another one like that and we will be heading back up soon. But for now the club retains its faith in Dyson and what he is building.
