HC Vita Hasten are under investigation by the the league for duping some wannabe manager into paying 5.5 million for a 25 skill 9 defender Mats Ahlmén. Manager Lorribot offered:
"I have no idea what their problem is, he is worth at least double that. He is intelligent, we know because he has 3 GCSEs and light bulb and this is not one of those energy saving light bulbs but the full 100 watt one: I have personally seen the glowing tungsten.
"There are other defenders on offer for similar money and they didn't even have a candle let alone a 100w light bulb.
"Nordwind is a skill 1 manager and I know nothing of him, we have agents and accountants to deal with all that mucky stuff these days.
"Maybe Norwind thought he was midfielder, a position where 100w light bulbs are highly prized?"
The investigation is on going and outcome uncertain, but at least we can lay safe in our beds know there are people looking out for those managers buying under the influence.
