"It was without doubt, my best season since I was at Pelforth. When I first arrived here, I wasn't sure if I would make the team, but I did this season. I think I had left a lot of doubts if I should belong here, but Martinez gave me some confidence and I think this ascension is very well deserved," expressed Yanis van Marwik.
"This season's not only for finishing first, finally ascending to Division 6, etc. etc., but also because I found a team I know I can rely on," Martinez said. "And some players have greatly adapted, such as Iñaki Puñal, Yanis van Marwik, Francisco Rivoira, they weren't in the starting XI when they arrived, but this year, they've really proven their worth."
Atalanta's only refinforcement for this season, Lorenzo Arnau expressed that despite not having the playing time he desired, he was still very happy.
"I didn't have the minutes that one would think I have, but I know that Martinez has a good team, and in the end when I was needed I was there, I still made some good numbers, I really excited for next season."
Long timers Andres Alvaro, Joaquin Arias, Amoldo Neru, Teyo Karanka, Jose Pablo Mendoza, captain Santi Alaniz, Andreu Moya, Afonso Ferrer and Monte Vega all huddled near the Curva Nord, all very happy with this great season.
"It has been a complete honour defending this shirt, these colours," expressed Santi Alaniz, "It's been an honour being captain during these years, and I'm proud with the team, my manager, everyone."
"I really thank Martinez for giving me the chance as goalie, and I wanted to my best, and I think this is my best season ever. 0 goals conceded, what more do you want?"

Next, Teyo Karanka spoke, "Its been a life of ups and downs for me. One day you're starting, the next you're in the bench, but I have a lot of passion for this team, and that's why even though I was benched most of this season, I still want to, hopefully finish my career here."
Teyo Karanka has been one of the club's most frequent substitutes, and played 14 minutes against C4 Football Club.
There was also a special thank you to Mani Rashti who will no longer continue the next season due to retirement.
"I really wish I could continue, and I would, but I sometimes feel there's a moment where you have to do it, and sadly that moment is now, but I wish the team lots of luck, and I will continue to stick around here, and hear the latest with the club," expressed the 36 year old midfielder.
Atalanta will now take a short vacation before heading into preparation for next season in Division 6.
