Ramping Up
The preparation for the new season begins this evening as we have a friendly against a very good side run by one of the leagues very best managers as AS Vacaos Phoenix vist our place for the first post CR fixture .

The CR could have gone better , but then again could have gone a lot worse , a few players we thought would give us a double jump sadly didn't , but ever since I took over this side that seems to have been the case and I ell know they will be in a great position to double at the end of the next season if they are given the same game time they got last term .

Division 5 beckons next season and its great to finally moving forwards with this side . The club was worth 45 million when I took over and had an average age of 31 , so to be now worth 193 million is a great return on the patience and hard work its taken so far .

17 lvl 4s and 18 lvl 5s are not classed as good enough in an era where 16 lv 4s and 17 lvl 6s are the prized players for clubs with cash . But we like to think that so far we are showing that you don't need to take over a side worth big money and simply all stars and buy in 10 million players to be able to put together a decent squad .

Still a long long way to go to get this into a side that wont in the future yo-yo and make it a more balanced side who can sit in the top 4 flights . Its going to be a sad day when I have to start selling players who ive had since they were 17 in order to blanace the sge of the squad and avoid having 2 or 3 in each position become too old at the same time .
But at least now the days of buying old players fro average age is at an end . When the current 3 oldies retire there replacements will be new fresh faced 17 lvl 4s - unless some mad sheik invests 100 million into the club and we can buy top youths to compete with the best .

But for now im happy , and looking forward to seeing how we get on against Phoenix tonight , and then train train train ready to see how we can go next season .
