| Who needs plastic surgery with "The App" |
Shark Utd manager Hertz Van Rental was left perplexed today as future wonderkid Andy Halliday turned up for training looking completely different to what he looked like the previous week. Normally the youngster looks older than his 19 years, and prefers to model himself on a member of 80's European power ballard kings The Scorpions.
However, on Monday he had turned up looking like a member of the now defunct former pop warblers JLS. Manager Van Rental explained.
"I spoke to Andy after training to ask him what had happened to him. He explained that he had gone to a clinic called "The App". He used to go to some where called "The web" but found he could only change his earnings, put on a new chain and grow some stubble. The app allowed him to change his skin colour, haircut etc and he said he always fancied a change of look".
Further confusion was caused with the signature of Heriberto Nascimento, the half brother of Shark midfield general Alvaro Nascimento. Heriberto likes to model himself on Brazilian legend Romario, whilst Alvaro prefers to be World Cup winning captain Denga. However, in Heribertos first game in the app, he had turned into Juninho, whilst Alvaro had become Pele.
Halliday explained "I got told about the app and thought i would give it a go and loved the results so much it inspired me to score on Monday. Shame we lost the game, but it has encouraged the rest of the lads to visit the app and get a makeover themselves. I'm not sure about Wheatman's new look though, he has gone fifty shads of gray. He wanted to look like the bloke in the new film, but has ended up looking about fifty years older".
Van Rental is still confused and has asked his players to go back to how they look like on the web. He commented after their two one defeat against Grand Rapids
"I was watching the game on Monday, when one of the players mis kicked in front of his own goal. I didn't recognise his face, didn't know who it was and he had changed his name to Player. Lucky for us the chance missed, but never found out who it was, which was lucky for them as I couldn't give them a half time rollicking".
