Too easy for FC Massive as they move up.
On Fenerbahce13's league return to X11, his side FC Massive faced America Unida FC at a packed house at Henley Park. Inactive since 2011 and rusty, trying to learn quickly and adapt to the new changes in the game, he took charge in his first match against Ultimate XI in the cup, whom he managed to brush aside four nil due to the inactive nature of their current manager.

This evening was a completely different challenge. America Unida sat top of the league and came to pay FC Massive a visit with the hope of taking another three points. The direction of play and the result told another story, whilst FC Massive picked up yellow cards among their defenders within the first half hour to put them at risk, Unida picked up two injuries within the first half hour which made the game incredibly frantic and with a high tempo.

Fenerbahce13 out-thought the manager of the side which was stronger on paper, predicting his 4-4-2 formation and offensively battering his cautious defense with through plays and counter-attacks. The fact that Unida manager CHiLeNo told his boys to keep pressure on did nothing to help their midfield battle as FC Massive were quick to move the ball forward with a pass-and-move style and keep possession.

The first half ended all square with nothing to separate the sides, FC Massive firmly on top with possession and the only two chances.

In the second half America Unida could take no more, they could no longer go toe-to-toe with a set-up that should have broken their lines earlier. Casado celebrated the breakthrough in the 64th minute and a cushion was established in the 67th minute with a penalty from Trent Parker.

FC Massive made three substitutes late in the game, the last in the 85th minute, giving 19-year-old prospect Ray Ongfiang a run-out against the former league leaders. It was his introduction that would prove lethal as he passed beautifully on the deck to Lindquist in the 90th minute to seal victory and his first assist under Fenerbahce13.

Ongfiang was full of energy and eager to make an impression. Two minutes later he hit an exquisite cross into the box to be powerfully headed into the corner by Cooper.

America Unida capped off their poor showing at Henley Park when Birgersson was booked for a poor challenge in the 95th minute and the full-time whistle blew. Manager Fenerbahce13 made his comments after the match,

"It was difficult to break through, but once we had our penalty in the second half, Unida looked sluggish and we tried to add more in hope of moving to the top of the table. If you have the ball then you're difficult to break down and we achieved our target of possession and had a lot of attempts on goal. I was only going to make the substitutes if we had a two goal lead so it's beneficial that some of the senior lads got a short break. Ray was fantastic to come on and grab two late assists to turn this into a rampage, we'll see how he is on the training ground and give him a chance in the second round of the cup.

I think Unida were extremely poor playing as a team, but I don't doubt that they'll be one of the sides looking for promotion this season like ourselves. We'll just have to do our best. Themselves and Jädras Järnkaminer are the two strongest sides on paper in the league and we don't play the latter until mid-April and again a week later. Those games are crucial for who wins the league. We'll just see how we progress and how the squad builds, I'm not making promises or predictions."
