Still tops and another YA disappointment

FC Bacchus continued their undefeated season but definitely gained a measure of respect for Division 5:14 bottom dwellers and still pointless FC Sternenberg. The club was lucky to get away with a 2-1 the first time but even more fortunate to come away with the three points the second time. FC Bacchus got yet another goal from a substitute as Abraão Bragança netted just before the halftime whistle, after coming in for the injured Isaac Greenfield. FC Sternenberg were unfortunate not to tie the match in the 69th minute as their goal was disallowed. But one minute from time they got one to count, and looked to have sealed up their first point of the season, as Clifford Vincent drew the score level. It was not to be as in the 93rd minute Ajamu scored his sixth dead ball goal of the season to send FC Bacchus home with the three points. To their credit FC Sternenberg have scored 2 of the only 5 goals FC Bacchus have conceded this season. In other club news, FC Bacchus manager ToxicScott604 tore strips off of his Youth Academy after being handed yet another sub-par youth for the first team squad despite a 5 star rated academy. An 18/3 greedy and header is not nearly good enough for the money that the club is spending.
