Shady Rebels
Division 3e, Dream League
Manager: MyShady
Money's too tight to mention
With multiple players one booking away from missing the next game - the XCL Semi - no money, and just 3 points needed from their last 4 League matches to retain the title, Shady Rebels opted to field a somewhat makeshift side in their latest League match against Shadow City, with all resources being saved for the XCL, which heavily contributed to their resulting 1-0 defeat against City.

Manager Shady - 12 hours prior to the League loss - had to travel away for several days, and wouldn't likely be able to secure Internet in order to set up for the clubs XCL Semi, so had to do so before the League fixture had even been played, despite not knowing which players, if any, wouldnt be available for that game.

Upon his return this morning, he noticed their opponents in the competition, PSG1, had lost their main keeper through serious injury, and would miss the vital match. This was a cruel blow for PSG1 to suffer with such an important game up next, and the player's absence was seriously noticed as the Rebels went on to record a 2-0 away win, scoring twice from their three attempts at goal.

It was a very strange encounter for such a high profile and important fixture. The hosts could only field an 8 skill keeper, whilst the visitors set up without knowing whether any of the players selected to play would still be eligible come matchday, whilst also not knowing which formation was used by their opponents in their match previous to the Semi Final.

The Rebels now turn their attention to the Dream League Cup tonight, where they face Barneses Ball Club. Their opponents are of weaker skill, but with the Rebels squad having not been form trained at all of late due to a lack of funds and the managers' absence, form on a lot of players is very low, with many on negative form trends too, which will very likely prevent them from getting a positive result in the following game in the League on Sunday.

With the Rebels still chasing 3 trophies, its almost an inevitability that major cash flow issues will be their downfall, and play a huge part in them failing to deliver.
