Deep into the unknown
Although my account is old, I played just a couple of months till 2017, when I decided to play X11 again. In 24 February I took over a mediocre team in Final League.
My first season there was not very successful - I finished 6 out of 8 in division 3h and got relegated. In the next season I did a little bit better and finished 2 out of 8 in division 4p.
THEN SOMETHING HAPPENED - Book of Ecclesiastes was on the job centre and only 4 other managers wanted it - to be honest, it's not the dream team I was looking for, but my rank was just 1100 and I just had a little bit over 6 months of loyalty with FC Gilau club. It was a big suprise to see that I was the selected manager to take it.
My first game was a victory against a team without manager - my second game was a clear defeat against Obstacle Garden FC, a defeat that sent me into the playoff where I was going to face a top Romanian manager with a better team. Somehow, I managed to win and promote into the Classic League.
And now, after a vital victory against Johnstone Wildcats, the most organized team in the division, I am 7 matches away from something really special, even though not even a year passed since I started again from scratch...
This is an amazing opportunity for me and I hope to remain focused and work hard to understand the game more. I am indeed deep into the unknown - fighting against the top teams & managers of Classic League. But even though things will not go the way I want, the experience of this season was awesome :).
