Champions!

For the second week in a row, Widzy Rangers were involved in a 1st vs 2nd top of the table 6 pointers, and once again came away with a single goal victory and all 3 points. This week it was against Rapid Necrosis, where a win would guarantee Rangers would be crowned champions come the end of the season. Andrew Mason got the ball rolling when he lashed home what would prove to be the only goal of the game in the very first minute.  The hosts defended resolutely, as they have done all season long, completely nullifying the visitors attack.   That win means Rangers now sit on an incredible 30 points out of a possible 33, and 11 points clear of their nearest rival with just 3 games remaining, thanks in part to their incredible defensive record - conceding just 9 goals in 17 competitve matches this season.   With the title in the bag, Rangers now have 3 matches to field their youth players to maximise their already impressive haul of DV.
