The penny finally dropped

Fergus77 had some pretty big concessions to make about his managerial skills today after his side ground out a 0-0 draw against division champions The Three Lions. It's clear to see that the other managers in this league are more skillful and highly rated than me. In the past weeks we have got caught up in the race for the playoff spot, and I'm not proud to say that we have chucked a heap of money at staying in the race with hefty win bonuses. I've been guilty of emptying the club's bank account, and all the while knowing that it's not the right way to go about things. I've been wondering why my manager rating is low despite the team doing well on the park, and then, after 9 years playing this game, the penny finally dropped - I finally realised what those little dots under the player form bars actually mean. For all these years I have underestimated player form, and not paid enough attention to training. So, as the side goes into the last round of matches still in the hunt for that play-off spot, the pressure of the season run-in has finally lifted because the realisation about player form is worth more than that 2nd place and all the money I've wasted trying to get it. A new era awaits the club next season, whatever happens it is sure to be an exiting season finale... :)
