Season Update!!!
Dalian's manager has been nothing short of impressed by his team's display so far this season. The team has shown courage and resilience in dealing with the challenges of promotion into the upper division, "I am quietly pleased to see the result of our solid pre-season paying off and hopefully the team will maintain the standard".

Straight to the review of games played so far:

Although the Round 1 Cup game was more or less a straight forward win, the manger was more interested in the performance rather than the result so there was a mixed blend of experienced legendary players and young growing future players. M Neubauer and R Repolainen did make a good impression with their display and wrapped up the tie 13-0 on agg so we advance to the next round of the competition.

SEASON 49 DIV 3 GAME 1
The season was underway with the visiting Gorton St Marks looking for an upset, but Dalian FC came prepared and handled the challenge with goals from Eetu Karkkainen and  Jussi Peuhkuri enough to seal the tie.

GAME 2
This was always going to be a difficult match and as usual the manager ensured his team was fully fit for the encounter by making a slight change to the formation set up, opting to go for a solid 4-5-1 in order to hold off the challenge of the opponent's midfield experienced and skilled set-up.

Dulwich Dynamo were playing at home and going into the tie as favourites having defeated VFB Buttfart in the opening game of the season. Dalain FC maintained their organisation; limiting the home side to a few shots on target with a strong performance from the keeper, stopping all threats from the home side's forward play.

The dead-lock was broken in the 73rd minute through a long range effort from Luca Vivas, this opened the scoring and broke the defence of the home side. The impressive Galterio Luisi ensured the away team took all 3 points away with his 79th minute effort so sealing the encounter.
