Awful relegation

A rebuild project like ours needs to stay on a certain schedule to lead to success. That schedule has been seriously damaged today, as we go back down to D5 on goal difference after being in the battle for promotion for so long. Naturally we can expect to go back up after the next season, but this means that our oldest youngsters will already be over 30 years if/when we make it back into the top flight. Secondary damage is the fact that we will probably not play a lot of of challenging games next season, and weaker opposition hurts the DV of our players. A very bad day for the club then, but we gave it our all and it simply wasn't to be.
