Manager:
EdiscoMessi
Squad cleared and good times ahead
Edisco needed seven matches into the regular season to finally clear his squad of players deemed surplus to requirement. Since the start of the season, six players have used the exit door, four have previously played a part in the first team while two are youth team recruits. The sextet have recouped over E16M into the club coffers.
Perilous Knights didn't spend much in the transfer market and that is due to the ingenuity of the youth coaches who have been on the receiving end of Edisco's plaudits in recent seasons. The promotion of hard-working and skillful German youngster, Frit Register helped relieve the club of delving into the transfer market to sign a replacement for the outgoing duo of Thomas Laws and Pascoal Albertino.
The club also acted sagaciously in bringing in experienced defender Will Mustaine for under a million to help the youngsters develop. Despite a lacklustre start to life in division 5, the squad is looking in shape and the future looks bright due to the managerial aptitude of the club transfer chiefs, youth coaches and gaffer.
A first round progression in the cup and only narrowly losing out on aggregate in the second round can be seen as a huge improvement. But if the club continues in the direction it is going, then all can be confident that there'll be no limit to their success.
