| Da_Rilla takes helm at Spandex |
"It was a spur of the moment thing," admits Da_Rilla with a shrug before taking a sip of water. The steroetypically dour Scot gave his first press conference at Spandex FC earlier this afternoon, shortly after revealing his appointment as manager at the club. It is his first venture into the Xpert Ladies despite almost 14 years in th X11 world.
"I've read that the Xpert Ladies is where many of the most dedicated and active managers can be found," he cotinued. "That's what attracted me to have a gander at the teams available. The first one I clicked on was Spandex and I thought they had decent potential for development - reasonably skilled and with almost 10M in the kitty. So I thought, why not have a bash?"
Da_Rilla will get his first chance to see his new charges in action in just two days when they face Beta Andromedae, managed by the legendary Daisy_D.
"I've not been active in the forum for a while now," Da_Rilla remarked. "There are a couple of rather childish loons in there, but Daisy does a cracking job of keeping them from going too OTT; I just hope her players aren't quite so rigourous and dedicated to their task, otherwise we'll really struggle to get a result!"
