The league position isn't great going into the final two rounds, but mathematically there is a chance so the team will fight until the end. In a bid to raise some funds ahead of next season and potentially life in division 3, Colin Caird departed the club after appearing in 291 games. He didn't quite make the 300 mark but his stats as a defender don't lie. He scored 7 goals, claimed 15 assists in those games getting 34 yellows and 3 red cards. However 50 appearances in the team of the week and 7 being the XEC is class. Unfortunately the game doesn't count how many clean sheets a defender has but he has contributed in the rise to division 2.
