The Greek Summer

Everyone who follows KF Velebit or is a fan of KF Velebit and interested in the clubs history remembers the Greek Summer of the Club.

The Greek summer was an event in the clubs history where KF Velebit produced multiple talents in a period of 2 years of greek descent.

The players went on to be sold as world class talents and meny of them ended up playing in the Champions Leauge and in the top leauges across Xperteleven.

How all began was with the economic crisis in Greece which made alot of the Greek people to pack their families and move to other countries.

With this, a lot of families came to Sweden in search for a better life.

KF Velebit offered some families to enlist their children in the Football Academy to make the children integrrate better with the Swedish society and boy they did.

Very early the Greek children started displaying a huge talent and with KF Velebits youth team they were thriving. Playing with older children and in stronger youth leauges they displayed their raw talent for football.

Some of the children were spotted by huge clubs early at the age of 12 while making records for the book of the ckub.

These children were then sold only 4 years later for record fees in the clubs history, these children at the time were:

This was the Greek Summer where KF Velebit made a name in the world as a telent factory and many people are witing for a new era.

Maybe the new era is coming now soon with the arrival of the Yugoslav children, and it is obvious to evryone that KF velebit sits on a pile of gold, specially now when a 16 year old Elvedin Balajic has been sold for a fee of 6 600 000 econ!
