18 year old striker Hawksby made his debut in the champions league not long ago and the next day provided a late assist to win a cup tie. In the next round he scored a late goal to prevent the tie going into extra time and win the tie, and this week in the quarter finals his two goals were the only goals of the game to continue a dream start for the teenager. In a 4 man attack if I'm honest we were going to try and sell him now as an under v'd late season little cash boost but when young players step up in crucial games they usually stay and prove themselves further, so we shall keep him and see how he does. Today we were ruthless in our pursuit of the last remaining promotion spot but so were the team currently occupying it. After last season's last ditch turn around that got us promoted here with far worse odds I'll never give up but Dotterel are not looking like dropping the ball. .
