League description:
Skilled managers, that know how to outsmart you on the tactics board and then love to ridicule you in the press.
We've got a few rules:
1) we all start with exact squads of 9 17/3s (GK, 3 DF, 3 MF, 2 FW) - Stars and 9 28-33/8s (GK, 3 DF, 3 MF, 2 FW) - Scraps
2) Stars are kept until they turn 30 (their last season is as 29-year-olds), then they are all sold and replaced with a new batch of 17/3s Stars
3) Scraps are changed every 3 seasons and are there to enable hitting the right Average Age in your starting 11
4) When Stars are all sold at 30 years old, everything starts over. No transfers/YA arrivals are allowed in the meantime. Cash from YA sales & outgoing transfers of 30-year-olds can only be used for trainings/win bonuses or buying same profile of Stars & Scraps but with better SQs
5) YA players can be accepted, but can not play and need to be sold
This means that at every single point in every season, we have the exact same age distribution, the only thing that differs will be skill bars, based on how successful we are in development and also the SQs, based on how good we were in transfer market and how much money we accumulated in the previous cycle. Foundation of the teams are the Stars, they are your path to glory and key is their proper development, but also ensuring at the beginning they fit with one another in terms of compatibility and SQs. But also the Scraps are not irrelevant, even though they will be crappy players (30/8s, 27/7s, 24/7s etc.) they will have to play in your starting 11 and you need to chose them carefully as well. Every 13 seasons, we essentially do a full restart, and the only thing that carries over are your funds, which is why success in every cycle will give you a small edge in the next cycle.
There is 1 golden transfer opportunity granted to 1 manager each season, allowing the right to buy an extra Star, It is given based on most success in following dimensions - most MOTRs, most 5 star tactics, most Xpert Pools winnings, most skill bars won on Change Report by Stars
