Belles With Last Day Heartbreak
Relegation has hit Old Quarter Belles on the final day of the season with the player notably distraught following the final whistle.
The hosts never really looked to get going, and a switch up in tactics didn't do the job as Fabiana Paulista's side were consigned to playing out next season in Division 5.
Paulista couldn't be reached for comment as she and her players headed straight to the dressing room following a lap of the pitch where they shared tears with the supporters.
Chief Content Officer Tom Owen was at hand with a reporter asking what was next for the Belles. However, Owen refused to confirm anything about future plans but instead answer cryptically with: "In the past three seasons, we've had highs together, and now lows. This is football, and nothing lasts forever. Not even a special relationship like this between CapsuleSocial and Old Quarter Belles. All I can say is that we remain committed to The Xpert Ladies."
