Doing enough
Ladies In Blue has made it five league wins on the trot following a very comfortable 1-0 home win over Inverse United in Round 12. The winner came from a Judy Elmes header late in the 88th minute, so it might sound a bit silly calling it a comfortable win... but we dominated the game with 66% of the ball and created the only four chances on goal. We felt it was a matter of 'when' not 'if', we just left it very late!
The win keeps us in 2nd spot with two games to play. We've got a six point gap over 3rd placed Sukkx1superstar W FC, so hopefully it's enough to hold on to this position and get an extra game in the qualifier...
