One Match Per Week From Here On
For the 5th season in a row, Donegal Aontaithe ended their cup run in the 4th round. You have to go back 14 seasons to when the Irish club reached the 5th. Earlier in their history, they did achieve cup journeys to the 6th and 7th rounds.
So this means that league matches are now the priority until the end of the season. And with the club just outside of the relegation zone on goal difference, this comes at a good time. Interestingly, they are only 3 points outside of 1st place so, as they say, it's all to play for.
Next up in the schedule is Strahan Cruisers. A win has to be the expectation against a side they drew 0-0 in the away fixture. They will have to do so without Neal McAleese (injury) and Dougal Loftus (suspension.)
