Rovers Crush Flabber in 5-0 Rout
Fridgetosofa Rovers stormed into the next round of the Ultimate League Cup with a dominant 5-0 victory over Flabber, sealing a 7-1 aggregate win in style.
Tino Castiglione led the charge with a stunning hat-trick, opening the scoring in the 10th minute with a well-placed header before doubling the lead with a thunderous long-range strike. Viquardinho Barbosa added a third before the break, heading home from a corner.
Despite a brief scare when Howie Upson picked up a booking, the Rovers continued to dominate. Upson made amends with a perfectly struck freekick to make it 4-0, before Castiglione completed his treble with a cool finish after another Barbosa assist.
Rovers were in complete control, boasting 61% possession and racking up 12 chances to Flabber's 2. Man of the Match Castiglione was simply unstoppable, while Barbosa and Upson also starred in a ruthless display.
