School of Science saw their cup hopes fade but picked up a point in the league as the season continued apace.
The first leg in the cup saw them completely outmatched against FC Raptors and so it proved. The Raptors scored two first-half goals through Colin Liddel and Jordao Avila and these proved more than enough to secure the advantage for the second leg later this week.
SoS then secured a point against Stafford Town although they were second best in terms of attacking play. Nevertheless they remained secure defensively and earned a valuable point.
The next contest is the second leg of the cup on Friday.
