Newpark FC ended the season with a home game against Pro Viva, and whilst Wd set his side up to maximise DV, he had to ensure his tic tacs were strong in fairness to the other sides chasing promotion etc.
Visitors Pro Viva were a side needing the win to have any chance of promotion and they came to Kings Park to keep the ball, find the space and hit on the break. Whilst Wd's side dominated the chances they could not convert with Viva scoring just before half time and holding on for a 1-0 win. With other results going their way they achieved a play off place.
The CR has now come and gone and it was certainly a mixed bag. From a squad of 18 the Club achieved 14 positive increases, albeit only 7 players gained a skill bar. There were 2 negative decreases with their oldest striker losing a skill bar, with 2 players remaining as is.
Gaffer Wd was pretty non plussed by the report and will now look at the squad to see where improvements can be made.
