Another decent week for Newpark FC, winning 1-0 in their first leg Cup game at home to Titans, before earning a point from their away League game at ProViva.
Gaffer Wd was delighted with his players over both games despite spurning a lot of chances to extend their solitary 1 goal Cup lead. The point at promotion chasing ProViva was a hard fought one and keeps Wd's side at the top of Division 2c at the mid season turn after taking 2 points from 2 of their nearest challengers.
With the 2 return games in the League up next and Gamla also hitting form, the second half of the season is going to prove very interesting.
Next up the return Cup game at Titans.
