Mancaster United
Division 3f
Manager: Davchap

Red Roulette
Mancaster United have their Division Three destiny in their own hands following their 2 - 0 home win over Unseen Academicals.

Another home win at the recently renamed Denis Law Stadium over Gwernfadog United, would see them retain their League status if Boulogne FC fail to win at Athletically Unfit on Tuesday. Winning their two remaining games would of course guarantee their survival.

Manager Davchap, however, is not sure that staying in the Division would be in their best interests.

"We have two senior midfielders in the twilight of their careers, one is retiring, the other Pat Ennis will be 37 next time around. That will leave us with just four midfield players."

"We have a crop of outstanding youngsters that need game time to progress and one school of thought is that to drop back to Division four might not be such a bad thing. They could all get playing time in the last two fixtures and certainly a lot more in the lower Division, from where we think we would return at the first time of asking."
