Darlington Steam head into the final game of the season with momentum firmly on their side, having all but secured promotion after an impressive run of results.
In their most recent fixture, the team delivered a dominant 5-1 victory over Team Light, with goals from Alfred Droste (2), Lincoln Torquey, Ronaldo De Cunha, and Tapio Rautavaara. The emphatic win showcased the attacking strength that has defined their campaign.
However, the match was not without setbacks, as Bonte Alder received a red card, ruling him out of the crucial season finale against Billingham United.
Reflecting on the result and the season as a whole, manager Dazzler1703 expressed his pride in the team's performances:
