Squad Devlopment Before Promotion
Mancaster United Manager Davchap made clear today that the Football Club's priority was the development of the Squad to a level that should Promotion be gained, the team would have a chance of staying up.
"Having studied some of the Division 3 Sides, the conclusion is that the step from 4 to 3 is much much steeper than from 5 to 4 and I don't believe that right now we have a Squad of achieving the sustainability of a Division 3 team.
For me, a season of losing in a higher Division, is more likely to me to be detrimental to team building, than a positive experience."
Davchap did, of course state that his teams will always go out to win every game what happens, happens.
