Rumours doing the rounds this morning suggest Lindum Rovers manager IsakRey had
no idea his side would be facing a promotion playoff, and that rather he’d fully expected to gain promotion directly via the club’s 2nd place finish to the league season.
Rey: “this is all very exciting, I just wish I had known before I flew out to Malaga for a midsession break! Honestly I don’t know if I’ll make it back in time to manage the game, but I’ve been in zoom calls from the beach and the lads know what I expect - which in some
cases is for all of them to be cancelo in their holidays too!”
