Tight Division
This division is one of the tightest Mornington have played in for a number of seasons and the toil continued at home to league leaders Tvarby for whom Mornington had no keeper.
Having tried to secure the signing of Cliff Savage, the hugely experienced 35 year old keeper, the paperwork did not come through in time and Mornington had to turn to a young striker, Viggo Brogaard, to stand between the sticks.
Luckily, he did a pretty good job and Mornington were able to keep a clean sheet. Sadly, they missed Brogaard at the other end and could not score themselves.
However, Mornington now have the one team that is not competitive this season and that should ensure that the Removalists are up with the frontrunners at the halfway point of the season. They now play old rivals Storpotaten in the 4th round of the Cup hoping to get one over their long-time divisional opponents.
