Living the Dream
Gmswjambo's PA, Mrs Trellis of North Wales, has voiced her frustration with regards to her husband, Reggie's, lifestyle. She took a time out with tea and crumpets to talk about it with her good friend Agnes, their conversation going something like this:
Trellis: Deary me, Agnes, it's like living with a teenager sometimes.
Agnes: Oooooh, you lucky so-and-so, it's amazing what those little blue pills can do, isn't it dear?
Trellis: You what? I'm not talking about Eccy or any of that rave nonsense.
Agnes: Me neither, I meant-
trellis: No, I'm talking about day-to-day lifestyle, honestly, it's like a never-ending cycle between the opticians, Boots, and Gregg's.
Agnes: Sounds like he's living the dream! Specs and drugs and sausage rolls are very good indeed.
As for C.A. Lisieux PA, having a gimme in the cup went little way towards softening the blow of a disappointing defeat on the road versus SLB Sanfins. Some of our big players failed to shine and we have to accept this. It's hoped the extra training ordered by the gaffer will pay dividends before the next league match, the visit of Geordies. They have a tidy squad, so our best players need to be on form if we're to get the job done.
