Athletic looking to go out with a bang
A couple of weeks ago they won promotion. Last week they won the title. This week they will simply be looking to send off the season with the kind of victory their fans have become accustomed to.

Stegger Athletic have had an almost perfect season. Signings were brought in early and settled well. A young squad grew together and performed in a manner far exceeding their individual skill levels. A lot of goals scored, only one goal conceded. Form and spirit through out the team has been high and now, with one home match left to play, Soloman84 wants his team to relax, have fun and share in celebration with the home fans one last time:
"It's the last game of the season and this team has come along way. It can be easy to win big once or maybe twice, but to consistently do it over the course of the season shows a maturity and professionalism that far exceeds this squad's age.

"I want them to relax a little for this last match. Enjoy the atmosphere and share the afternoon with the home crowd. Some of these players might not be around next season but they have all deserved their place in the squad this year and I want to acknowledge that."

The match, taking place on Sunday afternoon, shouldn't prove too testing for this squad of talent. But as they look ahead to Division six, they may want to make the most of letting their hair down one last time before the competition starts to heat up.
