Ouch but it didn't hurt

It was a tense group of players going into the match against Ouch FC as we hadn't won a game in five competitive matches. This group has definitely taken its' toll in terms of suffering defeats, sometimes devastating losses and conceding numbers closer to ten than zero. But with time they have grown accustomed to winning and fighting for every point. Naturally the nerves were wearing thin as we badly needed points on the board to finally kick off our season. Points we got. It was vs Ouch but the match didn't hurt. No injuries; just a yellow card, 5-1 chances and a really well taken goal from ever-present striker Shevchenko, who has failed to find the net on many occasions so far this season. Form-wise and development-wise there's not much to report on. We're on route to another successful season in that department, although we tried hard to qualify for another round in the cup with the added boost that gives the group both mentally and physically. Next up are MCFC reserves, a team we have faced numerous times in the past and a team we should beat on any given day; if we keep our performance levels the same as against Ouch FC.
