Parkway Forest managed to secure another scoreless draw against Real Bucheresti as the team look to lock down their survival over the coming weeks. The team are 5 points above the drop zone but with many games still to play and the next three league games all away from home, Forest manager codespyder isn't counting his blessings just yet:

"This injury to Tue-Bech Holten looks to be a bad one. We'll be playing these away games without him, and let's be honest: we wouldn't be at this level if it wasn't for him. He's scored so many big goals on so many occasions. He's our captain for a reason and we will miss him dearly.

"But we will find a way to adapt. I have confidence that this team will be able to pull through and survive."

Forest were dumped out of the cup at the fifth round on Tuesday, much to the consternation of the coach:

"I'm not going to sit here and lie to you that we're happy about elimination. Although we lost to a very good Varteig side in Div 1a, a team that reached the semi-finals last season, we are a top-flight team and top-flight teams should always progress as far as possible. We were one of the only top teams that got dumped out - Real Bucheresti did too but that was to another top flight team"

However he did see a silver lining:

"all these teams will have more fixtures and injuries which, at least for us, have been awful so far this season. So, we could use the decreased risk of injury while other teams continue to battle it out. I hope it means that our season won't end in relegation because we'll have more players available to play more often."
