With one point from their opening seven league games, Perilous Knights were surely going down the drain; but with five wins in their remaining games they gave the other teams a run for their money. Ultimately, it failed to rescue them out of relegation with Knights missing out by a single point. After the 3-0 win against AEW, Edisco reflected on the positives despite heading for D6:
"It's not where the boys want to be {being relegated} but it's better than finishing the whole season with next to nothing points to be honest. Five wins from our final six matches is awesome considering our results prior to that. Truth be told, our performances were never in doubt. The boys had always given their best right from the start of the season but the results were lacking. Hopefully, we carry the momentum from here into the off-season and into the new season".
