Don't Toulouse yourselves
That was the message from the manager (well OK he said lose yourself not Toulouse') to the players and fans at the half way point in Division 4j.

The Lions find themselves sat in second with a four point cushion on third place rivals Metz at the half way point having won already as many game as they did last season. This has left fans wondering if this is their time to get up into the third division for the first time in twenty seven seasons! But the manager had some cautionary words after their latest win:

"Now is not the time to get carried away, we have started well but when there is fourteen games in a season seven mean nothing. We have built a good base but need to keep our heads, you just have to look at the table the teams are close and chasing hard. Bar the bottom four we have scored less goals than the other sides so we need to stay concentrated and smart if we want to get out of this division.

"With regards to a title it is not what we are focused on right now, we are focused on our next game with Howl and winning that. What happens to other sides and around us is their problem we need to look internally and do all we can to get up and out."

Asked about individuals in his side the boss responded:

"I cannot make enough of a point but to say this is a team, one bonded well and most have now been here since my first transfer window. But individually is has been great to see Jan driving on this season as we hoped and also I am very proud of Godim who has bedded in as a first team defender now.

"We have a few good youth prospects in which are performing well and it is good to see another very talented lad in Philipe coming in yesterday for his debut. But look we are not getting high on ourselves or carried away, long way to go."

With that said it will be interesting to see what the Lions can achieve with the rest of the season.
