Oxfordshire FC successfully marketed and sold 17 year old midfielder Walter Ryder to IFK NollBollKontroll. This was a great move for the youngster as it represents an opportunity to play in a much higher level of the Xpert Eleven pyramid.

The classy teenager was sold for 4,051,100 econs netting Oxfordshire a very acceptable 3,402,924 econs after agents fee's were taken out, on the face of it excellent business for both clubs.

The Pro League offers no direct transfers between clubs so players are not able to "pick" the clubs they play for, with the selling club not usually knowing even where the player will end up when he is sold; so why was this particular transfer investigated?

Oxfordshire FC are a new club in The Pro League currently aiming for promotion from Division 6:42 in their second season. They pride themselves on their player development and it's paying off. Part of the club's transfer strategy is to invest in their youth academy and sell some of the brighter talents in order to finance the first team's bid for promotion.

The management are at a loss as to why or even how this transfer could have been in any way worthy of investigation.

Oxfordshire FC wish Walter well at his new club, hope he quickly settles and is able to fulfill the promise he showed whilst he came through our Academy.
