Getting found out

Well, Knights really needed to win away to FC Dragoes today in order to save any chance they may have had for a promotion challenge but they completely and utterly blew it. Our tactics were countered in every single way by Dragoes, their stronger team ultimately told and they dominated the game and won 3-1. There was some brief hope for a moment when Osten Vinnerborg got injured but Belmiro Gregorio's early goal made it clear who's in charge here.

We then suffered a huge blow as Bagdasar Nazarian was injured for two weeks and won't be back until the Dealu Verde game. That's not really ideal at all and although Knights got an equaliser thanks to Gicu Elen, it was a somewhat fortuitous equaliser as it was our only shot on target and Ronaldinho and Southall proceeded to restore the lead and win the game for Dragoes.

Both teams were on the same points totals as each other going into this game so a win for either side would be absolutely massive. Unfortunately this result puts Dragoes in a comfortable position going into the play-offs and leaves Knights just two points above the relegation zone.

We REALLY need to get our act together now, relegation would be a real disaster but with no easy games in this division it's going to be hard to reverse this trend now especially with another game not for a week now.
