Division 4a, Euro League
Manager: Jcas
CHAMPIONS
Genghis FC certainly made the fans suffer after an exciting 0-0 home draw, but there was jubilation at the final whistle as results elsewhere meant the home side would be crowned champions. Some late goals by Mina de São Domingos cut down the goal difference but their impressive 3-0 away win was not enough to reclaim top spot.

Fans will recall the last minute winner by Dyakov in the game before that in hindsight was the title winning moment. We spoke to manager JCas as his players covered him in champagne:

"You can see what it means to the fans and the players to win the title. We didn't make it easy and Sergei will no doubt get some stick for missing that penalty. It's been a fantastic season against some really tough opposition. We are going to celebrate tonight as its thoroughly deserved, but we will be back in training soon preparing for the next challenge in Division 1".

A stellar season from Genghis FC who will no doubt put up a fight next season to reach the highest level of the Euro League.
