Another cup bites the dust
And another one gone, and another one gone... Another cup bites the dust!

Another cup game for Sigtuna BK which means another severe injury on key player, obviously. Despite two careful teams both Torleiv Gåre in Sigtuna and Helge Fjällström in Barneses Ball Club had to limp off the pitch with great pain.

This means Gåre will miss out the league match versus series leader equipaR on Sunday, which will be a huge loss for the home team. On the good news, Vlad Dincu has recovered so much that he is available to play on Sunday, though it would be best for him to continue his recovery without intense matches. More good news is that the potential substitue for Gåre, Jarvis Thellwell, played a really good game versus Barneses BC and has an upgoing form.

What about the cup game? After a tough and tight away first leg that ended with a 1-2 defeat, Sigtuna BK had to win at home to advance to the next round. The play was as tight as the first one though much more controlled than Sigtuna would have hoped.

After a doubtful fouled goal in the 84th minute everyone thought the cup was over for this season. Only 2-3 chances (depending how you count) had been created before, but with only 4 minutes left of ordinary game time Arnold Jindra scored 1-0 to Sigtuna, who therefore advance only thanks to away goals.

- Two really tough games versus a really tough cup opponent, we are very lucky to advance!
