Shock result sees Disco Blue promoted

Turned out if we had won on the last game of the season against Striker FC we would've won the league and gained automatic promotion thanks to Bulgarian minnows CSKA-Sofia's twelfth draw of the season against league champs Tartan Teddy Bears.  Twelve draws out of fourteen games must be some sort of record. Well done to the Teddy Bears on their title triumph.  However, we may be facing them next season thanks to an unlikely win, via penalties, over a much stronger team than us in the play-off.  Odds were massively stacked against us especially with us missing our best player in midfield but somehow we took Sheffield Utd FC to penalties where they messed it up completely missing three of their five spot kicks, and despite us missing two of ours we held firm for the win. Should it be mentioned Utd missed from the spot during the game as well?  Either way an unlikely win that was very well received with the Blue Mondays enjoying a very happy Monday.
