Baldeep Out / Duro & Salvatierra In

The changes are continuing at Sons of Apollo as Gmswjambo seeks to develop his squad for the future.

Two new additions to the squad were unveiled this week, with Renato Duro and Ignazio Salvatierra coming in. Much of the transfer kitty was splashed on the former, his versatility and work ethic adding to his desirability as a 17/6; the latter is just a 17/4 whose SQs might prove to make him a farm if he can get the game-time.

One of the young midfielders was always likely to be sacrificed to raise a bit of cash for the season ahead, and that proved to be Percy Baldeep. 6.1M was a decent price for the cool-header 20/8 who had already double-jumped once but was unlikely to do so again given that one suspects he only just made it up a bar this time round.

In the meantime Juan Fellini has been listed again. The market for 19/6s certainly isn't what it once was and he may well depart at a loss after arriving for 2M as a 17/4. It won't be a disaster if he stays though as his percentages have been decent in CRs, so he could well double if he gets his DV up. Otherwise he might be listed mid-season on the hope that he'll be an undereval.

Six defenders is one more than we'd normally have, but it does open up more flexibility in terms of formation.
