Time to sit back, relax with a few beers and ponder our options.
Beer number one our defense wasn't up to stopping the opposition forwards, something we need to rectify in the off season, looking at the option, sell and buy a defender or two.
Beer number two, our midfield performed out of their boots and I can see little change there.
Beer three, our forwards, well they scored an amazing amount of goals in the cup rounds but failed to shoot past the opposition goalies, might have to grab a few peanuts off the bar and consider another forward.
Beer four, we still have some good reserves but not up to this division caliber.
Beer five, getting drunk, our goalie could stay with us until the end of his career but we need to give our back up goalie more playing time in the future.
Falling off the bar stool, we did well in the cup this season, that in itself was a big win even though we lost in the quarter finals. Great experience all round, even falling off the bar stool, not for long though as we will be back once we get our defenders sorted out.
Three games to go and it will be a mixed bag of younger players hitting the pitch to give the older guys time to think of fishing, beach resorts and retirement. cheers guys
