Porto Kora in chance of playoff spot
Porto Kora's hopes coming into this weekend's penultimate league game against Dettona FC was only to keep top two Blaenau Gwent Bears and Boco Eleven on their toes when the final day of Season 59 comes round next weekend. However Kora destroyed 7th place Dettona 7-1 at the Mega City Docklands Stadium, with six different plauers scoring - and then a good day got better when news came through that Boca had blinked, outplayed and beaten 3-1 at 5th place Wild Panther.

The only shame was title favourites the Bears squeaking a 1-0 win at 6th place Zachary Allstars, leaving them three clear and just needing a point at 4th place Teuchters United to clinch the title and promotion.

Kora however are up to 2nd ahead of Boca by 1 point, a big surprise as it looked like the other two clubs were nailed on for the promotion and playoff slots. With PK now just 3 goals behind the leaders James Wiseman's side could even win the division with a moderate swing, if they can beat Wild Panther away on the last day. It's more likely though that they will struggle just like Boca did to get a result there, which reopens the door for Boca if they can beat the Allstars at home. It's all to play for!
