Porto Kora pull clear!
In mid-season it looked like the wheels had come off for Porto Kora, when we didn't win in 5 league and cup games including a 1-0 home defeat to a South Hessen 98 side who since then have been struggling at the bottom end of Division 4g.

That seems to have been the catalyst for us getting our act together, though. Since then we've won five league games on the bounce, four of the them impressively against rivals Raptors (back to back in consecutive Sunday) and table toppers Wild Panther, who we dethroned last weekend as a result of a very fine 2-0 away win.

This Sunday we were on easier turf in theory at struggling South Hessen, but they made it tough for us again. But although we left it late we pinched a fifth straight victory with an 82nd minute goal from Ronaldo Pontes. Doesn't matter how you get them of course - three points was what matters, and suddenly that's put us 4 clear at the top of the division as Boca and Panthers helpfully drew. So did Raptors at bottom team Mebyon Kernow, which leaves us 10 points clear of 4th after it had looked like being a mass battle for the top two slots.

Plenty of time to go yet though of course! And next we've got a very tough game against Boca, who are 5 points behind us in 3rd right now.
