Well as we are all blatantly aware you cannot win a game without scoring a goal ! And last season this team scored 13 goals in 14 games not exactly setting the world alight is it, which is why we finished in mid-table and this team simply cannot afford to do that so starting from this season we must move upwards so how are we going to achieve this? Well firstly we had to sell one of our many quality players in order to bring in some much needed econ, secondly we have brought in an older more experienced midfielder in order to help balance out the average age of the midfield. So, is this going to change our ability to score enough goals in order for us to gain promotion? NO is the obvious answer, what is hopefully the answer is if we can complete the deal to bring in the player who will bring us the goals required to get promotion. Talks continue, the only stumbling block is the huge transfer fee required to bring him into the club. Is it good value for money? Probably not. Are we happy to pay the extortionate fee? Most definitely not, but when you're stuck between a rock and a hard place something has to give! Finally can you put a price on success? Well, we'll let you know if we get our man and if we get promotion or not.
